Aerial Hammock Classes

Elevate Your Practice — Body, Mind & Spirit.

Hammock Flier

Elevated Aerial Studio in Kalispell offers both types of aerial fabric classes: aerial hammock in addition to aerial silks. While we provide a beginner-friendly curriculum for each apparatus, aerial hammock is widely recognized as the most accessible way to begin your aerial fabric journey.

What's The Differnce?

Aerial hammock is a single loop of fabric, rigged like a swing or sling. It offers passive support, allowing you to sit, lie, and move through poses without the need for intense gripping or complex wraps.

Aerial silks, on the other hand, consist of two separate tails of fabric hanging freely. This apparatus requires you to create your own support using wraps, locks, and upper body strength—making it a more physically demanding practice.

Our aerial hammock program is led by two dedicated instructors, Mindy and Chrystal. Having two instructor means students enjoy the unique benefit of learning from diverse teaching styles and a wider variety of curriculum.🚀

What To Wear

In all fabric classes, leggings are recommended to protect your skin from irritation. A sports bra and fitted shirt long enough to be tucked in will work, or a leotard is even better. No gum, zippers, or jewelry that will snag the silks. We also suggest bringing a notebook. Most importantly, don't forget a water bottle to stay hydrated!💧
