Because dancing is good for the body, heart, and soul, our founder (Mindy Cochran) organized an annual high energy, action packed, dance fitness party to raise funds for the Abbie Shelter. The Abbie Shelter's slogan is “Safety, independence, empowerment;” so their mission and Elevated Fitness's mission of empowering women are aligned. 100% of proceeds were donated in memory of Mindy's friend Emily Mohler who lost her life to domestic violence, along with Emily's dear friend Cody Nevins and her three-year-old daughter Piper. At Neon Nights, we dance for Emily and the way she lived. She dove headlong into every moment, every adventure, every inclination of her heart; she moved in rare air.
