July often brings a flurry of activities—summer vacations, family gatherings, outdoor events, and an endless list of things to do. While it’s a month filled with excitement and connection, it's important to carve out time and space for yourself within the busyness. Listen to what your body needs. Honor its natural rhythm by moving with intention, strength, and compassion; purpose, power and care.

They’ll highlight how physical activity can foster joy, emotional strength and resilience — far beyond performance or aesthetics. ❤️Recap of June events ~ I am still on a high these highlights in June:

Stiltwalking the Missoula Pride Parade (note our stiltwalkers on the front page of the Missoulian for the second time)! Five hours in the car to support Pride is so worth it! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Performing with Moontricks - a Canadian electrofunk duo coming straight from Red Rocks in Denver to lil' ol' Whitefish. It was a bit rainy but we put the fabrics away and wow'ed the crowd with hoop and flying pole!
Coordinating nearly 20 performance artists for the action-packed, two-day Area 406 Music Festival was a whirlwind of creativity and collaboration. Some unforgettable highlights for me included getting to perform with my former student—now a professional aerialist—Shelby McGrady, who traveled all the way from Hawaii. I’ll never forget the moment a drone flew through my hammock mid-performance! Catherine and Bailey’s stunning aerial hoop duet was another standout, and of course, I danced to my heart’s content. I am grateful for an incredible team to create this special kind of magic!
June has been a whirlwind and I am still riding the performer's high! Here are some other things I am excited about:
❤️ Time to play outdoors ~ Summers in Montana are short and it's important to make the most of them. I personally am looking forward to some camping and hiking. Join us for a whimsical journey into a world of enchantment at the Flathead County Fairgrounds — and the best part? General admission is FREE!
🌿 Keep an eye out for our giant stilt-walking faeries as they dance among the bustling artisan stalls and vibrant live music. We will be walking about at 2:30 and 3:30 each day!

My heart is full as I wrap up this June recap and look ahead to the future of Elevated Aerial.
